1. What Investing Brief is

Investing Brief ("we", "us") is a publisher of general educational information and news summaries about securities you tell us you hold or follow. We publish a daily brief on our website, can notify you by email and/or text message when it's ready, and offer an educational chat assistant. Educational information only — not investment, tax, or legal advice.

2. What Investing Brief is not

  • We are not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, tax preparer, or law firm.
  • We do not provide personalized recommendations to buy, sell, or hold any security, or on when to do so.
  • We do not manage money, execute trades, or connect to your brokerage accounts.

3. Your account

You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of the United States to use the service. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for the accuracy of the information you provide, including your holdings and questionnaire answers.

4. AI-generated content

Briefs and chat replies are produced with the help of AI models using third-party data sources. They may be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate. Always verify information with the linked primary sources before relying on it.

5. Text messages

If you opt in to SMS delivery, you agree to the following: "I agree to receive recurring automated text messages from Investing Brief at this number. Msg frequency varies, msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase."

6. Email

Every email includes an unsubscribe link. You can also change your delivery preferences in Settings.

7. Acceptable use

Don't misuse the service, attempt to access other users' data, scrape or redistribute brief content, or use the service for any unlawful purpose.

8. Third-party content

Briefs summarize and link to news, filings, and other third-party content. We don't control and aren't responsible for third-party sites.

9. Disclaimer of warranties and limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any investment losses or other damages arising from your use of the service.

10. Changes and termination

We may update these Terms; material changes will be communicated and may require renewed acceptance. You may close your account at any time.
